Evidence-based Entrepreneurship Policy and Practice:
Three Essays on Entrepreneurship Success and Implications for Policies and
Support Programs.
|
Dissertation abstract |
The dissertation addresses the research questions:
(1) what determines entrepreneurship success? and (2) how can policymakers
and support organizations intervene to facilitate successful entrepreneurial
activities? It is structured as three essays which, as a whole, provides a
better understanding of entrepreneurial success and how public policies and
programs can contribute to greater success. The essays define
entrepreneurial success, compile and build the research evidence pertaining
to this success, and develop, based on this evidence, guidance for
well-informed public policy and well-designed support programs.
